Alston Smith

Alston Smith is a seasoned software engineer with experience developing enterprise-level solutions for government and defense organizations. He holds a CompTIA Security+ certification, bringing specialized expertise in secure software development and DoD compliance standards. Throughout his career, Alston has demonstrated leadership in complex data integration projects, working extensively with Java and various database management systems. He excels at bridging technical solutions with customer requirements, having directly interfaced with government and civilian stakeholders to deliver mission-critical data products. His technical proficiency spans multiple platforms including Windows and RHEL systems, combining deep technical knowledge with strong project leadership skills.

Pete Burns

Pete Burns is a consulting solutions architect with over 20 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in highly regulated environments. He specializes in modern data and AI solutions grounded in governance and mission outcomes, helping organizations build secure, scalable, and fit-for-purpose ecosystems. Pete is a published thought leader on innovation, infrastructure modernization, and responsible AI adoption, and he served as a panelist for the Advanced Technology Academic Research Center’s Data Management Summit. He holds a degree in English Literature and Organizational Development from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. Outside of work, Pete enjoys time with his family, jazz clubs, and mountain biking the trails of Colorado.

Peter Farrell

Peter Farrell is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with studies in history and foreign language. He is a former U.S. intelligence community professional in systems analysis, cryptography and intelligence research. He holds postgraduate certifications in systems analysis and natural language processing from the National Cryptologic School and Cornell University. Pete is also a commercially licensed pilot, author, and speaker.
